Hot Springs Atlas
Privacy
Last updated 2026-05-07
Short answer: the atlas collects almost nothing about you. No accounts, no login, no newsletter signup unless you ask for one, no ads.
What we collect
- Nothing by default when you browse. The site is static HTML. Opening a page does not create a profile, save a cookie, or set local storage.
- Analytics. If we add analytics, we use Plausible, a privacy-respecting service that counts visits without cookies and without cross-site tracking. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- If you email help@hotspringsatlas.com, we receive your message and respond from the same address. Email is forwarded to a personal inbox. We use the content to answer your question, not to market at you.
What we do not do
- No retargeting, no ad pixels, no Google Analytics.
- No data sold or shared with third parties.
- No email list you are auto-subscribed to by using the site.
- No profiling, no personalization across sessions.
Third parties
The site loads assets from Google Fonts, unpkg (Leaflet), CartoDB (map tiles), and may load Plausible. Those providers may log your IP and user agent as is normal for any request to their servers. We do not correlate those logs with anything.
Your options
You can ask what we have on you, or to delete it, by emailing help@hotspringsatlas.com. We will respond within 14 days.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above and push the change to the site.
