Roadside rock pools against the Crystal River, 30 feet below Highway 133. Acquired and managed by Pitkin County since 1991. Visitors rebuild the dam every few weeks. Can flush completely in high spring runoff. Almost always busy, parking is tight, swimsuits by local custom.
